More base training…

Its only about a week until the first race of the season for me.  Looking forward to it, viagra although the base part of the year has seemed a little more erratic than usual.  With all the crazy weather, ambulance its made for a lot more time spent swapping workout days than it has in the past, obesity so the all mind settling ride schedule hasnt been so mind settling with it being JENGA!!!’d every other day.  The best part about being in school while training, 6 hours of cold fun in the rain, and then you get to come home to a warm shower, followed by 6 hours of fun economic theory.  As it turns out, the two don’t mix very well…judging by my 1.5 out of 7  homework score average…

On the bright side, I was only picked up by a sheriff during a training ride once, in the only blizzard ive gotten caught in.  It also seems that the weather is starting to get a little warmer out, as I was able to ride two days this week with one less layer than usual, although theres still about a foot of snow on the sides of the roads on the best climbs in the area.  Training camp is just a couple weeks away, and with that Im hoping for some sun that California is said to have, itll be a great to get away from sleet and hail for a few days.  Along with the new weather on its way, some new equipment is on its way as well.  Much needed considering all my stuff is broken or worn out.  The first race or two is going to be on my franken bike cross bike with all kinds of random stuff on it!!!  At least I know that if I crash the bike isn’t going to get damaged.
